5 Count's Ringette Association “Come See How To Be a Ringette Goalie” Ice Time

For Ringette Associations looking for a way to encourage young Ringette players/teams to come and see what it would be like to be a Ringette goalie. *Best is early September for the Ringette season – recommended for U10, U9 and U7 teams that rotate in the goalie position.

Starting in August

-   1 ice time of at least 25 minutes on-ice – entire team is involved
-   Up to 2 teams for 1 instructor, prefer more than 1 ice time/group in a row in an evening
-   Association provides the ice and goal equipment/sticks (for all players to share on the ice)
-   All players can be in player equipment or Instructor can help 1 or 2 beginner goalies get dressed starting a half
    hour before the ice time
-   Parents and coaches welcome to put on skates and come on the ice to watch (with helmets)
-   On-ice – introductory Ringette goalie skills - stance, angles, movements, butterfly, ring toss
-   Before or after ice – 10 minute talk with the team, beginner goalies and parents/coaches, including sharing of
Ringette goalie experiences from the instructor and options for Ringette goalies in the Ringette world,
showing medals, autograph signing, invitation to local NRL games
-   1 pager for each player/parent/coach outlining basic tips for goalie dressing and goalie skills – great to
reference when it’s their turn in net!
-   $75 + GST per ice time for 1 instructor (serves 2 teams)

Contact Keely or Heather if your Association is interested in booking us for this coming season. We can talk with your Association’s board and are prepared to discuss options that will work for your teams and your goalies.
